I am a graduate of the Universities of East Anglia and Durham in Music and Composition and trained trained as a class teacher, gaining a PGCE. I have extensive experience as a professional musician, both as a soloist and member of the Cathedral Choirs of Norwich, Durham, Gloucester and subsequently Chester Cathedral.

I have a Masters Degree in Composition from the University of Durham and have written and arranged music for choirs and school communities in Chester, notably collaborating heavily in the recent "Sing Up" project, aimed at encouraging singing at Junior Schools. It was performed at Chester Cathedral and opened Chester's Midsummer Festival
